Located in the peaceful seaside town of Nuevo Portil, our front gates are just 350 metres from Nuevo Portil's unique, golden twelve mile beach, where a long protruding spit of land ('La Flecha') protects it from the Atlantic.
Our closest airport is Faro in Portugal (one hour away) and transfers for up to ten are 80€ each way via www.faroshuttlebus.com. Sevilla airport is equidistant.
The villa has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, an expansive lounge, kitchen and WC, spread between the main house and the separate chalet, reached by crossing a courtyard that's a riot of colour in the summer season.
There's also a separate fairylit twenty seven square metre games room, with plenty of space for everyone to chill out and relax. The games room features a full size pool table, corner bar, bluetooth sound system, a lifesize Batman statue and a comprehensive comics library.
(Please feel free to read the comics so long as they are treated with care. Note that many of them are not suitable for children.)
The villa can sleep up to eleven across five bedrooms.
On the second floor you have the large master bedroom, with a super king double bed, en suite bathroom and large balcony with plenty of room for breakfast and breathtaking views over the biodiverse grounds and 16th and 17th holes of the local golf course.
Downstairs in the main house you have the large lounge/dining room, with a pair of large corner sofas (pulling out to provide two more double beds), 55" OLED smart TV with Netflix, NowTV and Amazon Prime accounts.
For dining, there are fold-out tables and chairs in the lounge, to accommodate up to a dozen eating indoors, plus plentiful outdoor chairs and tables for dining al fresco.
Also downstairs you have a double bedroom, and a second bedroom with a set of bunk beds and one single, all large enough for adults. Your second bathroom is down here, as well as a separate WC.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, marble-topped breakfast bar and an enviable complement of cooking facilities including a hot grill plate, gas hob, induction hob and deep fat fryer.
There's also a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
Over in the chalet you have another double bedroom with vintage four poster bed and antique 18th century dressing table, plus a twin with two single beds (large enough for adults) and you have a third bathroom here as well.
Smooth terracotta flooring is underfoot throughout, keeping the rooms cool on even the warmest August days. There are air conditioning units in all bedrooms, the lounge and games room. The lounge, master bedroom and games room also have vintage overhead fans.
Outside, the grounds are vast and lushly landscaped, wrapping around the entire villa to catch sun from morning til dusk and leaving you completely secluded behind high walls and screening greenery.
A flamboyance of flamingos flying in formation can often be seen overhead.
Our gardens are home to an incredible range of biodiverse flora from all around the world, including a specimen of the oldest tree ever recorded - Ginkgo biloba, ancient cycads, banana plant trees, avocado, fig, orange, lemon, orange, peach, walnut trees and a South American silk floss tree (which was considered a sacred tree among the pre-Hispanic cultures of Mesoamerica).
The pool is a kidney shaped affair, with a shower at one end and a swing at the other. The pool is around seven feet deep at its deepest point.
We have a treehouse with commanding views over the golf course, as well as a separate BBQ area, with large brick charcoal grill, plus a dedicated sink and food preparation counters.
Garden furniture is available for you to make the most of these spaces - three sets of tables and chairs sit in the various courtyards and we have a range of timber and canvas sun loungers for you to soak up the sun on the lawn.
We have gated, off street parking. But our road is very quiet and offers plenty of space for parking even in the high season.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is a largely undiscovered, unspoilt paradise with over 300 days of sunshine per year and mild winters.
The calm waters of the Nuevo Portil beaches have won the blue flag award and the pine and juniper flanked beach boardwalk is the perfect place to enjoy an evening stroll.
Nuevo Portil itself offers a variety of entertainment. The Golf Clubhouse is around an eight minute walk and a wide variety of other bars, restaurants and supermarkets can be found nearby, with plenty of options inside a fifteen minute stroll.

There's also an exciting variety of chiringuitos or 'Beach Bars' along the long sandy beach for you to explore as you stroll along the golden sands and enjoy the incomparable pink and silver Nuevo Portil sunsets.
We also have 12,000 acres of pine forest just five minutes from the villa - perfect for rambling and cycling. There's also two nature reserves within easy reach - Laguna de El Portil and Marismas del Río Piedras (through the marshes by the lighthouse in nearby El Rompido).
The Playacartaya Aquapark & Spa Hotel is just an eight minute walk and has a spa with very reasonable rates for non-guests.
Be sure to take advantage of the ferry service which will take you across the water to 'La Flecha'. Just a few minutes walk will bring you to an idyllic beach facing directly out onto the Atlantic. Heaven.
Further afield and you have an endless array of recreational and cultural experiences at your fingertips - from camel or horse riding, quad biking, authentic live flamenco, kite surfing, river boat rides, night trains into the mountains and caves to explore, as well as nearby water parks, theme parks, even a Wild West style pilgrimage. GETTING AROUND:
Nuevo Portil has excellent cycle paths, starting just opposite The Nuevo Portil golf hotel, around five minutes ride away.
Also opposite the hotel you have bus stops with one bus an hour in the high season taking you to the city of Huelva (twenty-forty minutes) and the beautiful fishing village of El Rompido full of incredible restaurants (five minutes).
A local 'Road Train' service stops regularly outside our gates in the summer months, and will ferry you around the various local hot spots.
Venture further and the incredible charm, history and artistic richness of Sevilla is a one hour drive away by car, train or bus.
